Look into check_ifoperstatus in the contrib directory. That should do what
you want.

Subject: [netsaint] Monitoring individual interface status

Has anyone set up netsaint to monitor individual interfaces on Cisco
routers?
I want to set up netsaint to monitor the status of each interface and let me

know if any of the operation interface statuses changes using snmp.

TIA
