Host file bummer

(RH7.2 & Netsaint 0.7) Ok here is the thing, I two host files: Host-1: Used originally for about 2 months to test netsaint, has about 65 devices and 130 services. Host-2: New host.cfg file that has about 3 times as much stuff added than the original host-1 config file. Now netsaint has been running fine for about 2 months with host-1. Now I want to put it into production, modified host-1 to come up with host-2 and I haven't added any new features or services, just added some contacts and added much more hosts. Ran the ./netsaint -v <main config file> (it liked it, well it thought it was ok enough to work) Ran the ./netsaint -d <main config file> Took a look at the programs running and netsaint looked to be running. Started getting emails of stuff being down, took a look at the website to see the new list of all the stuff running...shows 0 hosts, 0 services and netsaint isn't running. Rebooted the server...same, reloaded netsaint...same, doesn't show anything on the website. In fact, now on the screens it is telling me that I don't have access to view the pages. So I switch back to the other hosts.cfg file and reload, reboot and it works fine, the webpages work fine and netsaint is happy again... I'm really confused, just thought that swapping out the hosts.cfg file with another was an easy thing...don't know what I'm doing wrong... Please Advise and thanks in advance!
