I posted a question to the group and didn't see a response so ill do a repost.. I have over 700 checks running on my netsaint box. and the configuration files look normal however, on the retries of NON-OK services i have noticed that the default 1 minute interval is actually between 4 and 5 minutes. even though the Entry clearly states 1. I need to nail down why this occurs? the thing is, it doesn't occur in every instance, and no one check. so at one time it would be a disk check retry and another time it would be a cpuload check. I need to resolve this quickly as in cases an alert takes 45 minutes to go into a HARD status when it should only take 15, that is not acceptable behaviour for the monitoring tool. SO I need help on what to change to provide consistancy in retries of NON-OK states. Has anyone seen this before? if so, how did you fix it? -- This message and any attachments are confidential to the ordinary user of the e-mail address to which it was addressed and may also be privileged.
