followup question about netsaint and nagios distributed monitoring setup

Hey guys,

I have not heard any reply to my question about being able to get
passive data into central server running nagios from distributed
machines running netsaint.

Has anyone done this test to say that it cannot be done, and that if
central is running nagios then it can only get passive service check
data from distributed machines running nagios as well.

Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
