Hot to do the first test

Hi all,

I'm completely new to NetSaint and I'm trying to do a first test. I
wonder about a service test, if a filesystem on some host is mounted or
not. This will be a real test in my environment too.
Can I do such a test with a normal shell-script? Has the Netsaint host
to have remote-shell permissions on tne hosts it tests?
I still didn't completely get the picture of how the tests work. These,
which are shell-scripts look like scripts to run on the local machine.
