Good Morning/Afternoon to all ...

I have been using Nagios since it forked from Netsaint and I am really
happy with all of its features .. This is one of the best pieces of
software I have ever come to work with....Lots of Kudos for you Dean.

I am currently checking over 100 Devices monitoring 1030 Services like
"Router CPU Usage","hard disk utilization on HP-UX Linux and WIndows NT"
,"firewall hits per minute","Email virus hits per minute" even "Changes
on RedHat site for new packages" .. You name it I am checking ..
This is the coolest package ...

One Thing I have noticed is that I have the need for a server/device NOT
to show up at all while is in transition to being ok. thus a status of
"hidden" may be a great thing ...

A server sometimes may be down for weeks at a time and I don't want it
to be on the way showing up all "critical". Even though it has been set
to not notify/not check etc ...

Is that something that could be implemented in Nagios ? Is that a
feature that anybody Other than me Could Use ??
Your Input or other Ideas on how to accomplish this will be greatly
appreciated .
