like Mr Martin said you have to set up a different command to use it.  but the biggest trick to using qpage is the qpage.cf file. by default this installs in /etc/qpage.cf if you
set up users  and or groups in this file you can page very easily, however the biggest stumbling block i have found is the pagerID  info , this is actually how the service you
are using defines your pager and is unique to your pager. the PIN does not define your pagerID in most cases. What you need to do is call the service you use and explain that
you are setting up a TAPI connection to forward messages to your pager. and you need both the modem settings for the TAPI connection as well as your PagerID(s)

second, alot of the pager service providers(like mine) allow you to send pages to your pager using email with the  telephone number as the address I.E.:
[email protected]   With the text you want displayed in the body of the message. If there is a subject line, in most cases it is ignored.
so if you are able to sendmail outside of your local net to the internet, you can use this function instead..
here is what my commands look like for possible notifications for your reference..

command[host-notify-by-qpage]= /usr/bin/echo "$HOSTNAME$ $HOSTSTATE$ $OUTPUT$ | /usr/local/qpage $CONTACTEMAIL$
command[host-notify-by-qpage]= /usr/bin/echo "$HOSTNAME$ $SERVICEDESC$ $SERVICESTATE$ $OUTPUT$" | /usr/local/qpage $CONTACTEMAIL$

command[host-notify-by-page]= /usr/bin/echo "$HOSTNAME$ $HOSTSTATE$ $OUTPUT$ | /usr/bin/mail $CONTACTPAGER$
command[host-notify-by-page]= /usr/sbin/echo "$HOSTNAME$ $SERVICEDESC$ $SERVICESTATE$ $OUTPUT$" | /usr/bin/mail $CONTACTPAGER$

command[host-notify-by-email]= /usr/bin/echo "$HOSTNAME$ $HOSTSTATE$ $OUTPUT$ | /usr/bin/mail $CONTACTEMAIL$
command[host-notify-by-email]= /usr/sbin/echo "$HOSTNAME$ $SERVICEDESC$ $SERVICESTATE$ $OUTPUT$" | /usr/bin/mail $CONTACTEMAIL$

and each usr has two entrys as a contact
one as a normal user using a shortname of some sort.  and one for specific qpage functionality..
this gives you the flexibility to set your contacts to be notified on a rotation basis easier, IE
kray=email and email pager  notified during workinhours
krayp=same person qpage pager notification 24X7  the CONTACTEMAIL is passsed back to qpage to tell it who to dial..


both part of group ADMIN
