Well....thanks for the advice...i've tried to follow all the exmaples in
order to reproduce it but i think i've made somewthing wrong.

In fact the messages are sent by the distribuited server to the central
one, but i think i got a problem on the central one....in fact the
messages are not "passed" beetwen nsca and netsaint....

So i need to know if there is someone out there that have ever tried to
build distribuited control using netsaint 0.0.7....if so could you
please send me your conf files (host, command, eventhandler, nsca.cfg,
send_nsca.cfg.....) for both machine central and distributed ones...

Thanks all

Pietro

there's a section in the docs about "distributed" monitoring, which is
what you are describing.

Subject: [netsaint] There is a way to do this....

Hi all

I need to know if there is a way to do the things i'm gonna explain
using netsaint or nagios.

I got 5 netsaint running on a really wide net, what i would like to do
is that the 4 "uptown" netsaint could send all their result to the
central netsaint, in order to view all the netsaint services and host
and logs that i got over all the network by using only one web
interface. (now i have to open 5 browser windows in order to see them
all)....

Is this possible?...by using what?....can yuo give me some config file
as examples?.... :)

Thanks all

Pietro
