RE: Multiply nofication Groups

Contact GROUP2 is not alway the first or primary. I can reverse the contact groups and GROUP2 is now getting the pages and GROUP1 doesnot.

service[HOST1]=PING;0;24x7;3;5;1;GROUP2,GROUP1;120;24x7;1;1;0;;check_ping!2000,50%!3000,80%

In the contact definition itself is a a definition of a timeframe to specify when a contact may be notified. If a notification occurs that doesn't fid in that timeslice, the contact doesn't get a notification because it is filtered. May be this is the reason, so check contact definition. There is a field for host notifications and one for service notifications.

RedHat 7.2 w/ Netsaint 007.

Have been running now for about 6-8month. Monitoring 162 hosts / 189 services with a Compaq Deskpro over a WAN. Works like a champ.

However, I want to have 2 or more contact groups be notified for Service notification.

Example:
service[HOST1]=PING;0;24x7;3;5;1;GROUP1,GROUP2;120;24x7;1;1;0;;check_ping!2000,50%!3000,80%

Only GROUP1 gets notified.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.
