check_http will also do regex checking if the approriate libraries were compiled in (configure tries to detect them at build time) -- Karl Thanks Karl, ThatÂs exactly what I was looking for :) - But here's the big shocker .... I really am a big newbie and would not know where to start with a project like this. I downloaded the tarball from http://sourceforge.net/projects/netsaintplug/ and extracted it. I then tried to compile the plugin using "gcc check_http.c" ... sorry I know this is a pathetic attempt, and I really do need to do some more work on the topic, but if some could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.
