Not quite, but NT domains.

There are a number of ways provided by the plugin distro including 

Plugin-scripts:
check_disk_smb 
check_proc (to see if smbd and or nmbd are running) either by ssh or
nrpe if the Samba is not on the Nag/Netsaint host.

Contrib:
check_wins
check_ms_spooler

There is work underway (Mr T De Blende is going to start testing) to
produce a check that a PDC/BDC complex is able to validate a domain
user, provide its LAN MAN logon script and accept connections (to some
or all of) shares specified in that script.

Samba as WINS
Samba as file server
Samba as DC ?
