NSCA Troubles (dropping packets)

Hi,

the NSCA process is logging lots of errors to the messages log, telling
"nsca[13759]: Dropping packet with stale timestamp - packet was 615
seconds old".

I'm running 22 distributed servers (all Netsaint v007 on RedHat 7.2,
central server too) which are sending their results every 5 minutes. The
results are filtered before sending, so only the latest results are
send. In general about 30 of them. Looking on the distributed servers
the results are sent within a few seconds, generating 22 NSCA processes
on the central server every 5 minutes. Now sometimes it happens that
some of those processes are running more than five minutes. So when the
next results are coming in I have maybe 34 NSCA processes. Probably the
processes from the last run then produce the errors in the messages log.

If so, the question is why these processes are still running? Is the
netsaint.cmd limited in some way? If anybody would share his experiences
or could give advice?
