Richard,

I don't have any experience with SMS_Client, but another option is
Gnokii. I use it quite happily on a number of Netsaint installs. It
requires a Nokia mobile phone connected to your server with a data cable
and will send out SMS's via the mobile. See www.gnokii.org

Subject: [netsaint] SMS_Client from Netsaint

Ive just installed SMS_Client and have netsaint using it as an external
command.

Only 1 out of every 5 sms messages gets through - in the log though I
get connected to Cellnet sometimes and sometimes I don't.

Is anyone using anything better than sms_client to alert people as it
seems pretty unreliable
