Hello All,
I need help with an install of netsaint 0.0.7.
I have just build it on a FreeBSD 5.0 box and Apache 1.3.7.
To make it easy I have imported my config files from a previous machine.
Everything appears to be running fine excpet for the webinterface links
to the cgi's. Eg Tactical Overiew.
Clicking on the cgi links gives me "Error: Could not read host and
service status information!"
Apache is running. Netsaint is running and emailing me down nodes.
The portion of the config for httpd.conf is (no security at this point
in time).
== paste ===
Alias /netsaint/ /usr/local/share/netsaint/
Alias /manual/ "/usr/local/share/doc/apache/"
<Directory "/usr/local/share/doc/apache">
Options Indexes FollowSymlinks MultiViews
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/netsaint/ "/usr/local/share/netsaint/sbin/"
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "/usr/local/www/cgi-bin"
<Directory "/usr/local/www/cgi-bin">
AllowOverride None
Options None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
=== end ====
The netsaint web interface is showing log file, home, documentation, etc
I have purposely not gone to nagios at this point in time.
Any advice appreciated.
Regards,
Peter
