how can I create a log for notifications?

Dear all, I have 3 machine running Netsaint 0.0.7 which work perfectly with one exception. I use smash to send SMS messages for notifications, and on one of the machines netsaint says that the notification has been sent, but I do not get the message. I ahve checked the smash log and it has not been called. Is there a way to get netsaint to create a log file when sending a notification so I cna check to see what is going on. Thanks Ian....
