Look at http://www.netsaint.org/images/screens/serviceinfo.jpg (this is for
a service, a similar screen is availible for hosts). On the right side
under "Service Commands" the top option is "Acknowledge this service
problem", that's where (in a base/default/vanilla install) you acknowledge
problems. If you want to look under the hood a bit it turns out that all
the CGIs do is submit an external command to Netsaint (via a named pipe).
Further documentation on submitting external commands is at
http://www.netsaint.org/docs/0_0_7/extcommands.html. Since you mentioned
this is a new install I would look at Nagios (www.nagios.org) as well, it's
the next generation of Netsaint and while still in beta seems to be stable
(though I haven't played with it myself).
