New version 1.6 released

A new release of newsx, version 1.6, is now available at:


         ftp://ftp.kvaleberg.com/pub/newsx-1.6.tar.gz

Issues raised by the 1.6pre version should now have been attended, and
it should compile even with INN 2.4.0. 

Compared to 1.5, the main new features are:

      Fixes in source code for INN 2.4 and Mac OS X, and updated to new
      autoconf.

      Aborted fecthes now updates state more consistently.

      Configure now insists that libinn and libstorage be present for
      recent versions of INN.

      Configure attempts to do more in terms of finding libraries for
      INN 2.x.

      The mktemp() vz. mkstemp() issue has been looked into. 

      STORAGEAPI and EXTENDEDDBZ no longer relevant for modern INN.

      Fix from Andreas Metzler <metzler(at)logic.univie.ac.at> for
      path_bangs().
