NocatSplash stop (crash), user have XP Service Pack 2

Hello, 

First i want to say sorry for my bad english!

We using NocatSplash on a redhat 9. We use this a 8 months work fine.
But the last 3 months there problems every day (splashd stopt) and i reboot the server. 
Yesterday we do see the problem, users whit XP and SP2 (service pack 2) make the NoCatSplash stop. 
I now this is a old software but maybe there is simple solution for this problem? I hope there is!
I can send the error log when Splashhd stop.
