NoCatSplash is planned as a drop-in replacement for the gateway
portion of NoCatAuth.  At present, passive mode authentication is
supported but not functioning in NoCatSplash. The passive mode is
designed to work with the existing Perl NoCatAuth authserver, so
anything that works with the existing NoCatAuth combination on the
server side will work with NoCatSplash, once passive mode in
NoCatSplash is thoroughly debugged and functional.
