The user was created as a non-login user (has /bin/false as the shell).  Do
I then need to recreate or modify the user to allow this?  While I have been
using Linux for awhile I am not what you would call an expert so any extra
info is helpful, thanks.

When you are making these changes you are logged on as root. When NoCat
makes the changes, what user is it doing it as? Can you log on as NoCat and
make the same changes. It has been a while since I have been working with
NoCat so I can't remember how it does it.
