I appreciate this need. Unfortunately the NoCatAuth gateway is written
in Perl and won't run on a compact device (unless you count the
Soekris, which you might look into). I think metrix.net sells small
router PCs that could perform this function. It would be great if
NoCatSplash supported auth, but so far no one has expressed an
interest in supporting development of that feature.

I think David Zendzian has done something about this, but I haven't
seen his code. Again, no one has expressed interest in supporting
development of that feature, and since I don't need it I haven't
