Different Identity for phase1 and phase2 of PEAP

>From 802.1X supplicant, can we supply different Identity in phase 1 and phase 2 in PEAP authentication when IAS is used as Radius server? Its works(different Identities in phase 1 and phase 2) with freeRadius but not working with IAS. have you any idea about this? am i missing some useful information in the question?
