The process to access the internet is divided in two pieces:

       authentication: which is the process where the user and password is
verified
       accounting:  once the user is verified you should be able to log when
the session start and stopped, from what IP (NAS) the request came, what is
the clients IP, MAC Address... etc.


       Accounting is very important for billing purposes.  Please refer to
any radius Accounting attributes to check them out.
