Thanks, after --rebuild my 200+ MB file srinked to circa 4 MB. 
And I made a mistake in the first post - the numbers of articles where 
the numbers of articles in the overview, not numer of fetched 
articles.

Does the same apply to groupinfo.gdbm ?
It's 13110335 bytes in size now, and I have 54626 groups avialable at 
my server (Usenet+Gmane). Is that the usual size?
