Oops. I've just noticed this line in what I sent you to put in
/etc/xinetd.d/noffle:

>         disable         = yes

Make that 'disable = no', restart xinetd.d and see if that works. Don't forget
to see if there are any messages in /var/log/messages if it doesn't.
