I scoured the documentation and tried some google-fu, but failed. Does anyone know if the Brocade ICX product, in layer 3, will perform a unicast or broadcast ARP request before the ARP entry ages? I was told by Cisco TAC that Cisco's IOS products do that, but I couldn't find any indication that Brocade's ICX does that. As you might be guessing, I need a MAC bridging table to not time out, so I have the ARP timer less than the MAC bridge table aging time, in a hope that the MAC bridging table doesn't empty.
