Off the cuff, my guess would simply be that EnumerateInstances and EnumerateInstanceNames were left off because they were implied or assumed, as required for all CIM objects.
And that only the additional methods of references were listed when these were left off.
For what good would any class be if you could not enumerate its instances?

I did searched on the message archive but didn't find the one I was looking for.  So here I am.

It says required functions as [ on page 27] remember that CIM_MetricDefForME  is an assocation class
