RE: Regarding WQL indications.

Not for this case.  This is used to say that the job completed successfully.

 

The value 2 implies ‘OK’ and 17 implies ‘Completed’.  The syntax includes the array operator [*], which means any of the elements of the OperationalStatus array.  We don’t care which element contains a 2 and which contains a 17.  

 

This formula evaluates to true if one of the elements has a value of 2 and some other element has a value of 17.

I am not an SQL expert, but:

 

  AND ANY SourceInstance.CIM_ConcreteJob::OperationalStatus[*]  = 17 
  AND ANY SourceInstance.CIM_ConcreteJob::OperationalStatus[*] = 2

can never be true.

A particular field value can't be both 17 and 2 at the same time.

I think an OR is called for.

I'm pretty sure your example is *not* valid CQL; I believe the ANY keyword is mandatory.
  SELECT * FROM CIM_InstModification 
  WHERE SourceInstance ISA CIM_ConcreteJob 
  AND ANY SourceInstance.CIM_ConcreteJob::OperationalStatus[*]  = 17 
  AND ANY SourceInstance.CIM_ConcreteJob::OperationalStatus[*] = 2

My understanding is that Pegasus' CQL filter does accept your version - but SMI-S requires the version with ANY.

There is code in the parser for this but it is conditionally compiled under PEGASSUS_SNIA_EXTENSIONS.

I am trying to run CTP for a certain block services profile. The CTP version is 1.3.0.
CTP is subscribes for the WQL indication

For this case the WQL query parsed successfully but it gave error,
