Doc++ vs. Doxygen

I suspect that in 2003, there probably was not much difference between Doc++
and Doxygen, but today it appears that Doxygen is alive and well, whereas
Doc++ appears not to have been updated since 2003. Has any consideration
been given to moving to Doxygen for OpenPegasus documentation?
