Kamal,

Yes it can be done, as Alan points out JMPI might be a better fit but if
you have reasons to use CMPI it will work to use reverse JNI.

Isn't calling java-based providers what JMPI is for?

      Hi all,

I have a CMPI based CIM server.

CMPI is a C-based programming interface for providers designed for
      binary compatibility.

      more information is at
      www.opengroup.org <http://www.opengroup.org>
      http://www.opengroup.org/bookstore/catalog/c051.htm

They require that providers be written in CMPI - C based.  My
question is can I call from CMPI C based provider to a java program?

I think providers are loaded and executed by cim server. So I am not
sure my java part [if I call from my provider] will be executed?

      thanks much!
