OpenPegasus on Fedora 12 -- Howto ??? // Dies in SSLContext.cpp

I have  attempted a build of the OpenPegasus 2.10.0 SRPM on Fedora 12
(x86_64).
Before starting this, I noticed that java-1.4.2-gcj-compat was listed as
requirement.
I could not find java-1.4.2-gcj-compat after setting up the yum repo list
jpackage and the associated yum-priorities,
hence I deleted reference to "java-1.4.2-gcj-compat" in the spec file in the
hope that the compile would find what it needs in the current environment.

The compile dies in: SSLContext.cpp with the following diagnostics:
