OpenPegasus running out-of-process on Windows

Hello, I'm building the OpenPegasus in Windows XP and I'm interested to run it out-of-process, like the Linux version. But, by default, the OP runs in-process on Windows. I set the config forceProviderProcesses=true, and the cimprovagt started the loading of providers. There are any issues about using out-of-process providers on Windows? Why this configuration isn't set by default? Thanks in advance.
