RE: Cannot create static instances

repositoryIsDefaultInstanceProvider config property is hidden and the value
is false for release builds. You can change the value by editing the
cimserver_planned.conf file or use cimserver
repositoryIsDefaultInstanceProvider=true.

How come I don't see that parameter running cimconfig -l? There's a bunch
of other known parameters not listed either, like trace*

repositoryIsDefaultInstanceProvider configuration property is set to true.

Hi all,

When I try to create an instance of a new custom class (or any class in
root/cimv2) which does not have any provider associated with it I get
"CIM_ERR_NOT_SUPPORTED" back from the cimserver (running
openpegasus-2.9.1).
Why could that be? Previously I've been running a self-compiled version of
pegasus. Now we're moving over to a pre-compiled rpm version and that's
when I'm starting to see these kinds of errors.
