Swapna,

I don't know what it will take to get what you need on Windows. I'm just suggesting a starting point.

You might look at Pegasus/Makefile.Release and the PEGASUS_OVERRIDE_DEFAULT_RELEASE_DIRS variable as an example of what can be done.

Hi Roger,

I missed to say before, I am compiling Pegasus on Windows Platform.

I see the document gives config recommendations on selected platforms, Linux,HPUX,VMS.

Is there any way I can do it on windows?

Thanks,

Swapna.

Swapna,

You might start by looking at the PEGASUS_USE_RELEASE_DIRS setting in this document:

http://cvs.opengroup.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/pegasus/doc/BuildAndReleaseOptions.html?rev=1.13.2.1

Subject: Redirecting Logs and Repository using Pegasus 2.9.1

Hi,

I am planning to port Pegasus 2.9.1 on WINPE1 which has a non writable disk space.

The Writable Disk Space is only 32 MB RAM, which we need to use for writing logs and repository files.

Is there any way I can redirect the Pegasus logs and repository to a preferred location.

Also I had problem in starting the cimserver, as cimserver when starting tries to create

cimserver_current.config and cimserver_current.config_bak files in PEGASUS_HOME directory, which is not writable in our case.

Please suggest a way, if any one of you have encountered similar situation.

Thanks,

Swapna.
