I'm not sure about how to interface with OpenPegasus yet, but the System.Management namespace has a lot of useful tools for interacting with WMI.

MSDN has a fair amount of resources on using .Net to interact with WMI, but it is not always the easiest to find information. You may want to check out the WMI .NET overview here to get started: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb404655.aspx. It might be possible to bend some of these tools into working with Pegasus, but I haven't had time to investigate it myself yet.

Regards,

Kevin

When I worked for HP I had access to sample VB .net code that did some simple CIM operations.
I no longer work for HP and I don't seem to be able to find information about the calls. I just can't remember
the names of the calls.

I think he was kidding.
Microsoft has been pushing .Net for everything these days.
In fact, it is the reason C# exists.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/default.aspx

And while I will agree I was wrong about the WMI interface being useful, I think you will find C# already will easily interface with Pegasus.
Even though WMI is DCOM based, .Net is not.
It is xml and http based, just like Pegasus.

There is a little known and poorly documented .NET library built into Windows. I don't

have much more detail.

Hi All,
Any one of you may direct myself to any information on how to develop a CIMClient in C#? is there any open source library?
