Error while building pegasus on windows

Hi,
I want to build pegasus on windows system. I downloaded the make utility.
Now when I try to compile it although I have setup the PEGASUS_PLATFORM variable it gives me error saying,
mak/config.mak:316: *** PEGASUS_PLATFORM environment variable must be set to one of the following:  .  Stop.


Can anybody help me with the exact steps to build pegasus on windows?
