DSP 1075 Provider

Hello,

 

We have to implement DSP 1075: PCI Device Profile.

Basically we should be able to retrieve the HW inventory of the machine on
which openPegasus is running via the PCI/PCIe bus.

The corresponding classes/model pertain to the CIM schema and I just
wondering what is the best approach to achieve that.

Do we have to implement a Provider which will be responsible for initiating
a Scan on the equipment and creating the corresponding instances. Then the
WS-management client will connect to the CIMOM server and will retrieve that
information? 

It is just to be sure that we will start on the right direction.
