OpenLDAP 2.2.1beta is now available for experimentation and
testing.  This beta offers numerous new features including:

- LDAP Sync-based replication engine
- Proxy Cache engine
- Hierarchial database backend (back-hdb)
- Value-level access controls
- NS SLAPI support
- Updated backend interface 
- LDAPv3 extensions: 
  + LDAP Sync Operation
  + LDAP Pre- and Post Read Back controls
  + LDAP modify/increment
  + LDAP no-op control
