[opennic-discuss] DNS over TLS vs. DNSCrypt and others

Hi all,

I was wondering if DNS over TLS ( https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7858 ) was
ever considered by the community here for implementation? A quick search on
the wiki for "TLS" didn't yield any relevant results. I did find this post/
opinion comparing the two standards:

Any thoughts? Any pros and cons over existing DNS privacy protection methods,
like DNSCrypt?
