Hello All,

This is just a quick notification that the IP addresses for NS1.VA and NS2.VA are changing, logging has been turned off, and introduction of DoH support has been setup.

The following are the old addresses, that will be decommissioned completely on November 27, 2019.

+ OLD ns1.va.us.dns.opennic.glue = 147.135.78.34
+ OLD ns2.va.us.dns.opennic.glue = 147.135.76.183

Below are the new IP Addresses:

+ NEW ns1.va.us.dns.opennic.glue = 147.135.113.37
+ NEW ns2.va.us.dns.opennic.glue = 147.135.115.88

I have also made the following changes to these machines:

+ DNS over HTTPS is now enabled on both servers (More information below)
+ Logging is now completely disabled on these servers named service

DoH Configuration:

+ Use the following https://doh.hack13.me/dns-query
+ Logs are sent directly to /dev/null on server
+ doh.hack13.me is setup in HA between both servers so if one has issue, it should keep working from the other instance

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected] or [email protected]

Thank You
