OSCON, Dev-Jam, LinuxWorld Expo and Training

Just wanted to bring everyone up to date on some OpenNMS related events.

We've got a lot of things going on late July and early August. I've  
been invited to give a talk on OpenNMS Case Studies at OSCON the week  
of July 23rd in Portland, Oregon (http://conferences.oreillynet.com/ 
cs/os2007/view/e_sess/14411).

The week after that is one I look forward to every year: Dev-Jam  
(http://www.opennms.org/index.php/Dev-Jam_2007)

Note: This is the last week to register at the reduced rate. If you  
are interested in learning about OpenNMS code and becoming part of  
the development community, Dev-Jam is *the* event to attend. At the  
moment we have people from four countries attending, and it promises  
to be a lot of fun.

Finally, the week after Dev-Jam we are returning to the  
LinuxWorld .org Pavilion after a two year absence. If you are

As we move toward OpenNMS 2.0, we are also revamping our training.  
There is too much to put into three days, so we've extended the  
course to five - but done in two parts in case of education overload.  
The first three days will be Basic OpenNMS which will include the  
content of the old course plus some of the newer features in 1.3/2.0.  
The last two days will be Enterprise OpenNMS which will cover  
Distributed Monitoring, the Event Translator, the Importer, our new  
Trouble Ticketing API and advanced Correlation Rules.

We have a new training partner, Celito, that is providing space and  
bandwidth. The courses will be held in Raleigh, NC, USA, and we are  
currently scheduling them every other month starting in September.
