Excellent news! I'm probably not the best guy to try and get this installed pretty quick, but I do have a 2nd/dev box now, so I went ahead and tried, and seemingly successfully, instealled 1.3.7. RHEL4. I removed the 3 opennms 1.3.6 packages w/rpm. I removed the opennms dir completely. I removed all of the share/rrd data & directories as well I then rpm -i 'd each package, which worked. I ran the installer with this command: ./install -l /usr/lib -disU Which I understood would delete the postgresql data. I copied capsd, discovery, and snmp .xml files w/my info in them from my production install. I started opennms. The only thing I'm confused with now is that when I login it still appears to know/show a lot about the previous install. Ie, it's already reporting on downtime from the old install/etc. I though with removing the opennms directories, and the disU option, I'd have started from a clean, clean slate. -b ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
