First off, unless you have a specific need to run Tomcat, we generally
recommend using the embedded Jetty server instead. This has been
available since release 1.3.7. Depending on your platform, you may
need to install a package such as "opennms-webapp-jetty" and remove
the "opennms-webapp-standalone" package.

Once you've moved to using the embedded Jetty, you can essentially
just replace "DEBUG" with "INFO" or "WARN" in all the web-related
sections of OPENNMS_HOME/etc/log4j.properties.
