try Tilman's recommendation above. I do not have a JBoss example to  
work with (I'm currently battling with Active MQ). I think there's a  
bunch of us taking the same route though and I'm happy to help as far  
as I can.

See how far you get with the the instructions on that wiki page.  
Also, when you come to drawing some graphs, make sure  
type=interfaceSnmp in snmp-graph.properties.

Oh, and if you read some comments in the code on wildcard object  
matching in jmx data collections, beware. I don't think it's working  
right now.
