Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. In answer to your questions:
 
1) No, I didn't build it using the eclipse command, this is how I built it: ./build.sh install assembly:directory-inlineand it built it in a directory name target. 
 
And let me mention this again that I got a tagged version and not the trunk, this is the command I ran:
svn co https://opennms.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/opennms/opennms/tags/opennms-1.6.1
You think I should have gotten the trunk instead?2) I tried importing the cose base itself but Eclipse can't find any project to list...
 
What do you suggest I should do? Please let me know.
