I understand that we can not restrict specific nodes/interfaces and resources for specific user or group only (Except Dashboard and surveillanc= e view) In the previous emails, I found information that it will implement in Version 2.0. Where can I see OpenNMS road map and time line? I think that I need to change source in java code model and controller for restriction. Is it correct? How much do I need to change? 2. For example: we request a graph like this: http://demo.opennms.org/opennms/graph/results.htm?reports=3Dall&resourceId= =3Dnode[12].interfaceSnmp[eth0-00304843a72c]&resourceId=3Dnode[12].distribu= tedStatus[5657/213.84.134.230]<http://demo.opennms.org/opennms/graph/result= s.htm?reports=3Dall&resourceId=3Dnode%5B12%5D.interfaceSnmp%5Beth0-00304843= a72c%5D&resourceId=3Dnode%5B12%5D.distributedStatus%5B5657/213.84.134.230%5= D> In this case, users can easily change node ID and parameters to see other nodes. So I also need to check permission in the controller or model. (*I a= m not sure whether OpenNMS already have restriction for this*) *In the dashboard page*, I think that *we only filter resources in combobox to generate Graphs. Is it correct?* Because I am thinking to write additional page that filter resources and nodes for specific user only (I will map difference users/groups and difference nodes, then when user login, I will show their nodes only). Then I will generate the above URL and redirect to generate their graph. But If users can change the node ID and others, I can not continue this idea. Do I really need to implement this restriction in the backgroud controller or model? Thanks --000e0cd25530adbd7704670383f4 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi All,

1.
I understand that we can not restrict specific nodes/interfaces and resources for specific user or group only (Except Dashboard and surveillance view)

In the previous emails, I found inf= ormation that it will implement in Version 2.0.
Where can I see OpenNMS road map and time line?

I think that I need to change source in java code model and controller for restriction.
