opennms 20.1 runs fine but...

Hi All, We have been evaluating opennms 20 and now 20.1 (perfect migration), with all the usual tests and enhancements to our systems. However yesterday we deleted a node, and discovery does not seems to work. We restarted opennms... and its still hanging at 100% (that's 1x cpu more or less) since 30min... Normally we get a big 350% as java kicks in, then after 2min everything is up. No web, no jetty, and no errors in any debug mode log... We are running the debian Jessie, latest kernel patch applied, same results... Thanks for any help !
