Importing Vmware VCenter

Hi all,

I am trying to import VMWare VCenter server into OpenNMS Horizon 20 on
Centos 7. I am following the below guide as we all do :)

https://wiki.opennms.org/wiki/Featurebranch/feature-vmware#References

Now, the issue I am having is when I finish the steps in the article and
restart the openNMS service, OpenNMS wont start, well it partially runs
judging by the output *opennms -v status*. See attached image.

The steps appear to complete without any errors except when I restart the
service. Here is what I am doing.

1. Generate config files

/opt/opennms/bin/vmwareconfigbuilder dc1prdmgt002.stjohn.wa
[email protected] password xxxx -rrdRepository /var/opennms/rrd/snmp/1/

2. Backup existing files

mv /opt/opennms/etc/vmware-datacollection-config.xml
/opt/opennms/etc/vmware-datacollection-config.xml.orig
mv /opt/opennms/etc/snmp-graph.properties.d/vmware4-graph-simple.properties
/opt/opennms/etc/snmp-graph.properties.d/vmware4-graph-simple.properties.orig
mv /opt/opennms/etc/datacollection/vmware4.xml
/opt/opennms/etc/datacollection/vmware4.xml.orig

3. Deploy customised files

mv vmware5-datacollection-config.xml
/opt/opennms/etc/vmware-datacollection-config.xml
mv vmware5-graph-simple.properties
/opt/opennms/etc/snmp-graph.properties.d/vmware4-graph-simple.properties
mv vmware5.xml /opt/opennms/etc/datacollection/vmware4.xml

4. Configure vmware-config.xml

-->
 <vmware-server hostname="dc1prdmgt002.stjohn.wa" username="opennms"
password="xxxx"/>
</vmware-config>

5. OpenNMS provisioning configuration

<requisition-def import-name="vCenterServer"
    import-url-resource="vmware://dc1prdmgt002.stjohn.wa">
    <cron-schedule>0 42 23 * * ? *</cron-schedule>
  </requisition-def>

</provisiond-configuration>

Everything seems ok but openNMS does not start after service restart.
Strange considering I am just changing data collection related files and not
core libraries.

Can someone have a look over the commands and just check that everything
looks ok. This is on Centos 7 so it is not exactly the same as the article
and also when I generate the config files I use the RRD repository
/var/opennms/rrd/snmp/1/ as thats where the files are and not
/var/opennms/rrd/snmp.

Hoping its something stupid I am doing. Any info would be great.

Thanks
