Hi all,
I have a problem with scheduled outages regarding notifications:
I set up the event translator in order to allocate service-down-traps from a F5 load balancer to the according node.
When I set up a scheduled outage for those nodes to supress notifications (e.g. for a scheduled reboot), notifications are first suppressed, but will be sent directly after the end of the scheduled outage (service-up-traps received!).
Also, auto-acknowledging of these notifications is not working. I'm receiving the correct traps and configured the correct uei in notifd-configuration.xml accordingly, but there are no auto-acknowledge notifications. I guess auto-acknowledging has to work correctly, so that I will not receive notifications anymore after a scheduled outage?
<auto-acknowledge resolution-prefix="RESOLVED: State: UP " uei="uei.opennms.org/traps/F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB/bigipServiceUpET" acknowledge="uei.opennms.org/traps/F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB/bigipServiceDownET">
<match>nodeid</match>
</auto-acknowledge>
Could it be possible, that this is not working when receiving multiple service-down/up traps for a node at a time with different trap parameters?
Any ideas on this?
Thanks and regards,
Robin
