Hello World, I’m one of the guys who had an earlier life in IT and ran a lot of software for others and release notes where important to me to understand what is the impact and what is the benefit when I do this update. During the Horizon 21 release I’ve went through the release notes and found a few issues which are confusing to me and makes them hard to read. Just to get some sync, Is this just my world or do you think about it similar? We use for similar things same words and split issues around. For example: * New Features * Epic * Story * Enhancement They all try to express, there is some thing improved and added in the software. I would suggest to add everything which improves the way people solve monitoring problems in one section. One example is NMS-9365 <http://issues.opennms.org/browse/NMS-9365> which is a new topology provider to visualise your path-outage configuration in the Topology UI. I personally would expect those issues as a new feature. Dependeny Updates section and Stories Use a section which are under-the-hood-take-out-the-garbage / Maintenance issues like updated JNA from version x -> z or Karaf x -> z in a dedicated section. Sure they have impact but it is indirect and often not expressed in the issues. For example all the Update and upgrade issues for ActiveMQ, Camel and Karaf are in stories and the “Dependency Updates” has not the same but similar entries.
